Novato Charter School is committed to serving students with disabilities in the general education environment. Students with IEP’s (Individualized Education Programs) access specialized academic instruction through a combination of different services.
Novato Charter School has partnered with the El Dorado County Charter Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) to provide services to our students. The SELPA is a consortium of schools responsible for developing special education policies and procedures, distributing federal and state special education funds, and providing a range of professional development related to special education.
