Expanded Learning Opportunity Program
Novato Charter School has an Expanded Learning Opportunity Program. This program provides free, high-quality afterschool and summer enrichment for Transitional Kindergarten through 6th-grade students who are from low-income households, or are English learners, foster youth, or homeless. Please contact the school office to enquire about eligibility. We work with our after-care provider, the Marin YMCA, to provide this program.
Information on Social Media Bullying
In California, social media bullying (cyberbullying) is recognized as a form of school-related harassment, legally defined as severe or pervasive electronic acts, including messages, images, and fake profiles that disrupt education. California law mandates that schools address, investigate, and punish off-campus social media bullying if it substantially impacts school operations or student safety.
Liaison for Homeless Students
Our Executive Director serves as the liaison for homeless students. He can be contacted by calling the school office at 415-883-4254.

Right to Carry Water Bottles
Students and staff have the right to carry water bottles anywhere on campus.
Special Education
Novato Charter School works with the Eldorado County SELPA to provide special education services to qualifying students.
