Alex moved to Sacramento in 2004, and has taught Movement at Rudolph Steiner College, Cedar Springs Waldorf School, John Morse Waldorf Methods School, Sacramento Waldorf School, and Camellia Waldorf School. He is currently part of a group of North Bay Waldorf Movement Teachers that are changing the way outdoor education is taught. Alex began working at Novato Charter in 2009.

In his words:

I find my true love of work and life in movement education. It is a welcome challenge to meet each child every day and ask myself: How can I bring movement into this child’s life and meet his or her needs today, tomorrow, next month, and this whole year? Moving with the children in ways they’ve never experienced, and challenging them to discover and bring forth their full range and potential is my greatest reward.
