Spanish Teacher | Marta Cervera

Marta was born and raised in beautiful sunny Spain.

She was educated at the National University of Spain in Madrid in Philosophy, where she is still furthering her education through their Faculty of Distance Learning.
Her inquisitive spirit led her to the study of the Great Thinkers and Philosophers of Earth’s History, in her quenchless effort to understand the meaning of life, the nature of man and its Divine Destiny.

Marta’s love for children and their education started early on in her life, and she devoted countless summers to assisting in the development of Children’s Summer Camps in Southern Spain for various international organizations.

Upon her arrival in the USA, Marta’s passion for education and her love and commitment to the Waldorf Philosophy embarked her upon her Waldorf Teacher Training and various Spanish Teacher positions in Northern California over the last five years.

In Marta’s words:

“I love working with children and being able to inspire and bring forth that Inner Beauty that they carry within. Children remind us of that spontaneous joy, that passion for life, that innate boundless creativity ready to be expressed…and that beautiful gift of living in the present eternal moment.

I am so grateful to combine my love for Waldorf Teaching with my passion for sharing
the beauty and grace of the Spanish Language and Culture. It truly allows me to combine two of my greatest loves for I believe the Spanish language and Culture embrace so much of that joy, love and spontaneity of life, as it is naturally expressed by children.

I am excited about being part of the Novato Charter School, and offer my gifts as a Waldorf Spanish Teacher to our beautiful children here.”
