Novato Charter School shines through its teachers, its staff, its curriculum, and its specialty classes. As a charter school, we are a school of choice and not all of our programs are funded by the State or District. Philanthropy is a vital component to the success of NCS, and there are a number of ways to support the school to ensure that we successfully supplement the difference between state funding and the actual cost of delivering an education guided by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf℠ Education. We must raise the funds to maintain our exemplary specialty programs of Music, Handwork, Movement, Organic Gardening, and Spanish.
For additional information on ways to support NCS, please review the descriptions in each section.
Make your gift or pledge payment by completing and returning the Foundation Pledge Form. Every gift given, no matter the size, is honored and appreciated!
Voluntary Class Fund Pledge
Parents are asked to make a voluntary annual contribution to the Class Fund. Class funds are used to purchase classroom supplies unique to our program, to cover the cost of overnight field trips, and to purchase and maintain musical instruments for the school.
Voluntary Annual Fund Pledge
Parents are also asked to make a voluntary annual pledge to the Novato Charter School Foundation. These funds are used to close the gap between state funding and the cost of our unique program.
